Afternoon all!
Got an strange one here,
2013 td4 Freelander with an odd clutch problem. Not long had a new clutch kit & concentric slave cylinder fitted so would like to think that’s all good.
Was ok for a few weeks & now the clutch pedal occasionally sticks down.
Anyone come across this before?

Sounds like the master cylinder, I would get it back to who ever fitted the clutch & slave and see what they have to say because it could be that.

The plot thickens!
Bled it through both conventionally & reverse bleed. Pedal still sticks down now & again. Going for a Master cylinder change.
Its a 2013 car & the pedal box fittings look different than in my workshop manual. Looks a devil of a job to do!
Anyone done one & can give me some pointers here?
Many thanks all!!

A D3 that I work on suffered from the pedal sticking down at random intervals. I took the MC out and stripped it down, as it was difficult to bleed. I found a split in a seal, but couldn't find a replacement. I ended up using CA glue to repair it. I also altered the angle the pedal return spring sat when the pedal was fully down. This made a great improvement, and it still working correctly now.
