I know lots of inappropriate words for the situation. No prayers he don’t seem to listen to me:(

I guess as you have had it running, you need to back track what you have disturbed, the tunnel looked a bit messy (wiring wise) when you first got it. But basically go back to the basics is a start to narrow down stuff.

What does it do/ not do? When you turn the key.

Now it does nothing...
The key switch puts power to the coil and solenoid at the appropriate times, and there's 12.8v to the solenoid direct from the battery.... but no clunk, and no whirrrrrrr

Going to take everything back to basics.:(

Today I shall pull the starter and solenoid to have a bench test.... Should be fun.

But first to map out what to do with this jigsaw puzzle:

Oh yeah, almost finished the dash:

Jigsaws when new are better than when rusty that’s for sure:)

Dash coming together, is it going in the center?
What switches you using, check regs on light switches and required warning lights/ symbols for certain functions.
Fog needs 1 for sure, also believe lights too.

Keep it up, and don’t let the starter get away from the bench when it spins up:eek:

Door latches fitted to newly welded and painted box-section... transmission tunnel now boxed in... transfer case H/L lever reinstated... brakes bled.

Now I can't get the damn lump to start! Anyone know any useful/appropriate prayers?

I see your slot for the hi/lo selector won't allow for difflock, are you going to electrical/air/vac operate that, or is it still WIP?

I've a bent 10mm spanner fitted to the selector... :oops:Think I'll leave it open for most of the time but close it for off roading.
