I thought it may be useful to log some of the modifications I've been doing to my Disco 2. Hopefully it will be of some use or interest to someone. This is how she was when I first got her. Only one owner from new other than me, and serviced at a landrover main dealer til the book was full.

The first change was to fit some steelys and BFGoodrich AT T-A in 285 75 r16. They where a little bit of a tight fit and needed some trimming of the will guards and front bumper part of the inner arch. There filling the arches a bit to much at the moment.

You running spacers on there too?

No spacers but the wheels have some additional offset over standard, I carnt remember how much. Imthey where the minimum offset modular steel wheels from Paddocks. They keep the tyres just within the arches, so not too wide.

Gragja are the spots on that standard fitment?

I fitted my winch and winch bumper today. I still need to trim a little more of the grill and move the bumper up a 1/2 inch or so.
I've got most of the wiring done, using an albright contactor in place of the warn solinoid pack. I still need to mount the winch romote socket in the grill and wire it up.

No I wired them myself using a relay and connecting them to the main beam.
