Size aside, why would you have an aggressive tread on a tree with that kind of profile?

Fashion statement? I wonder if you get a free case of spray on mud with a set of four fitted and balanced :)

35" tyre, 24" rim = ultra low profile and 4" deep sidewall, sod that, the whole idea is that you air down to increase tyre deformation over obstacles and flotation on soft surface, ultra low profile tyres are meant to stay firm and run with minimal flex as to ensure that the tyre grips, not rolls on the rim.

Utterly pointless in my opinion.

Same reason you see £70k Wranglers in Chelsea on 285 Cooper pros doing the school run.

Too much money. Not enough sense. Likes the idea of offroad (but offroad i mean their gravel driveway)

I get annoyed at people that put 18s on a Defender let alone this

Pfftt. Ok, everyone can have their own way and style but huge rims on low profiles seems completely counter to what G wagons are meant to do. They are luxury vehicles but they are still designed for ass kicking.

I'll stick with my 15" rims on 38" tires :)

Only reason i can think of is to put massively huge brakes on them to make sure you stop in time for that vital selfie in front of other passing ****s
