I think he has informed us that the link between the key and the latch is kaput/missing because he is unable to open it with the physical key in the lock either. Happy days eh?
Managed to get in the car . RAC wedged drivers door open at the top then taped ignition key to a rod managed to get it in the ignition and turn it on. He then got another rod and opened the drivers door window. Sounds simple but his patience and perseverance took two hours . Tomorrow when its light and I can get the door card off I'm going to need you lovely people's help to open the doors and hopefully get my pride and joy to burst into life . Here's hoping peeps . All input greatfuly accepted . Once again a massive thanks to Mozzy

Never superlock it. Some people cut the wire so it can't.
First job is check the microswitches on the lock actuator on the driver's door and the lock rods. After that check which RF receiver it has fitted.
Did anyone mention the battery? Range rover sport hate low volts like you wouldn't believe.

I told him I speak to god regularly !!!!!!!!!!!!!! and that he's quite a nice guy , a bit cranky sometimes but nice all the same ha ha ha sue just send cake urgent xxxxx
