Freelander v discovery

Hi all, looking at an 08 Disco with 84k full service history 1 owner but will need timing belt done, at least I would know the oil pump upgrade would be done or 13 freelander with 98k full service history 2 owners, both would do me but looking for advice from people who have had both. Million dollar question which would be the most reliable. Both in Vgc

FL2 would be more reliable and cheaper to run and fix when compared to a disco 3. The big question is: does yer need a big car, or an even bigger car?

Plus 1 what @Hippo said , a D3 will indeed be more expensive to maintain, lovely landies to drive but have to be mindful of what ur buying

And what's wrong with a Range Rover Sport or even an Evoque?

A Discovery Sport would also make a super alternative to all of the above

Cheers lads, bought the FL2 as when I inspected it was in really good nick and good price.

Phew you dodged a bullet if going for Evoque at least the Freelander 2 you can see out the back. Hopefully you will say hello on the Freelander site and able to join in on what your favourite hair dryer.

Ha ha thought the Evoque had taken the hair dryer title now lol.
