Discovery 2 Cargo Barrier

What are people using as a cargo barrier on D2s? I have looked at the Dog Guard option and it does not seem to be secured solidly enough to assure it won't let fail in the event of a crash.

I had the same issue with my D1. Ended up modifying a dog guard to make it strong enough. I had a pretty bad accident many years ago however the only injury I sustained was that from a beer bottle flying from the boot into the side of my head. Can only imagine what an axe or sledge hammer would do.

Thanks, the only dedicated cargo barrier I can find is made by Milford. Sadly they are an Australian company and are difficult to get even in Australia. None that I can find in the UK.

Have you tried Dixon fabrications? Sure they do custom stuff at good prices, could be worth giving them a ring

Thanks for that. Ian is making me some tree sliders at the moment. I've not seen them advertise any cargo barriers, but I'll ask.
