I'm after some ideas/suggestions please as I'm running out of ideas and have exhausted my (very limited) mechanical knowledge !

Most of my miles are either off road on semi tarmac tracks or light woodland tracks and I seem to have a very harsh ride/knocking from the rear suspension and low (5-15mph) speeds. On road handling is fine.

Rear sus is air (new) and new dampers fitted within 3 months. Arb
Bushes replaced. Watts link is fine, no play either way. Wheel bearings are OK - no play.

Any ideas?!

No, I haven't. Honestly I wouldn't know how to and while I can have a reasonable guess I'm not 100% sure what that is!

How do I check that?
On my 90 300tdi, I had a rear end knock, I pulled the diff to check it and found this.

On axle stands , It felt when I turned the prop like there was a lot of slack before a wheel would turn.

Cheers

Hi, You mention the ARB bushes -did you check the drop links too?
Griff
Yes, sorry forgot to mention those. Replaced front and rear at the same time as ARB bushes

Could bushes in the radius arms cause this. Disco has only done 91k miles but treated well with neglect by previous owner so no idea how long they would be expected to last - or if they're even a factor
