International Driving Permits post-BREXIT?

If we leave without a deal, as is starting to seem almost inevitable, we will need IDPs to drive in the EU, plus insurance Green Cards. For my planned excursion to the Pyrenees it seems I will need both a 1968 IDP and a 1949 IDP as Spain is one of the few countries that did not sign up to the 1968 agreement.
Not difficult or expensive to get (£5.50 at the Post Office), but worth bearing in mind if this goes pear shaped. Correction - even more pear shaped.

You say that but some of us are already in Europe and not coming back until after April Fools day (thats all it is right, just a huge April fools joke?)

It's an absolute joke. I doubt I'll do anything before the 29th and hopefully we get a deal of some sort.
