R/rover P38 2.5 Derv Auto Help Me Someone

Where Do I Start..my Rr Will Not Go Above 50mph/3000rpm On The Motorway....it Starts Fine On A Morning Drives Fine Upto The M/way But Once On The M/way The Problems Start..i Have Had The Head Gasket Done And Head Skimmed,new Fuel Pump In The Tank And Lines Blown Through,new 3rd Injector,new Turbo Pipes,exhaust Checked For Blockages,new Starter And New Battery,,,but To No Availif I Let My Foot Off The Accelerator At 50 On The M/way And Let It Slow Down To 30mph And Then Apply The Accelerator Slowly It Will Creep Up To 80 And Hold It For A Minuite Then It Slows Down Again To 50 And The Process Starts Again,,,when It Is Slowing Down You Can Hold The Throttle To The Floor And It Makes No Difference It Just Feels Like Theres A Fuel Blockage.....any Ideas

sounds like an accelerater pump fault but by the souns of it youve had it replaced air blockage? or rod poped off the derv pump if its got one?

lol erm not really as im in gloucester but i would be thinking kinda pump on engine is faulty and as far as im aware there expensive should be the same as bmw 325 e36 derv pump on the m51 engine

Have you checked out the relay for the fuel pump as I changed the fuel pump and had the same problem ande then found out that it was the relay
