Open book symbol

Morning all.

I have the open book on my hevac screen. It all seems to be working fine Hot and cold air blowing from every Direction Aircon working as it should but the Blower don’t turn completely off only turns to lowest setting. Thanks I have a 4.6 engine 2000

The fans do not turn off completely on either of mine so I assume that it's normal. The book symbol is usually due to a sticking blend motor. diagnostics would tell you where the problem lies.

Could be bits of the sponge seals are blocking full movement of the blend flap.

After my P38 was abandoned for few years the hevac LCD would show the fan either on 4 or usually 1bar and refuse to move. After a while it loosened up and goes to just fan symbol now. If on hot you can still feel warm air penetrating through but presume this means off. The dial can be taken out and cleaned with contact cleaner
