Hi,
I'm new to the group and new to off roading. Just got myself a 300 tdi discovery. I'm looking at putting a 2" lift kit on it.
Which should I go for Terrafirma or Britpart?

Quite a bit on the forum already about this. Forum search would be a good idea.

My own take on it would be that fitting a lift kit is a complete waste of time and money for a novice off roader.

Save your money, I was driving standard height for years before my lift, the only reason I fitted a lift was in preparation for the taller 33" tyres I have.

I will say this though, if I had stayed on the 235s I would have spent the money on lockers instead :)

If you really must and the cash is burning a hole in your pocket the Terrafirma all day long ;)

For a budget lift, fit 2” spring spacers, you will need new +2” rear shocks ( britpart worked fine for me ) and use towbar spacers to drop the rear ARB mountings. Front shocks can remain.

I have a 2nd hand Terrafirma 2" lift kit including heavy duty turrets coming off a disco very soon if your interested ;)
