Hi, The above light is not working and there are two new bulbs in the door pocket so obviously an on-going problem. Any suggestions as to how I go about finding short, presuming it is a short. Thanks.

Sorry discool. It is a 2000 year discovery td5 2 auto
Great, if you add that snippet of info as your signature, u won’t have to repeat it.
Anyway your issue, someone will be along soon with the info required from LRs electrical workshop manual (Rave) to help you, I would give u some tips if u had a D1. :)
Is the n/s tail light working and same with you glove box and u have check the fuse.? A list of fuses is on the back of the fuse box lid.

Try Fuse 11 in the fuse compartment under the steering wheel. It`s a red 10 amp that was in mine, wich continued to blow the fuse. Sierraferry is a helpful electrical guru.

Dan.
