Could be a few things...
First port of call should be the battery and the connections to it including the earth's going to the chassis and the connections to the starter motor Remove the battery and charge it whilst you clean the leads to bright brass colour.
Possibly the battery has died but do the above first.
Secondly, the ign switch may have burnt out, cheap to replace but fiddly.
Do the battery thing first including the connections and see how you get on and report back.

Did you check the earth connection, following from the negative cable from the battery to the chassis/gearbox, as Flossie suggested above? This is very important.
If you have, then ignition switch would also be my next suspect.

Hi yes checked earth's
If it was would the ignition switch / would that cut everything off ? There is power getting to the main fuses in the engine bay but nothing at the ignition. The alarm bleeps when put on and off but no lights flash as usual I'm guessing that's just coz it will have it's own feed ?
I'll try get a new ignition switch tomorrow and update thanks again.
