I'm about to replace the chassis on my 110 200tdi csw with a galvanised chassis. I'm also doing swivel kit, half shafts and drive shafts, disks, pads shoes and piston, brake lines include flesh, servicing gearbox and transfer, servicing ignition pump, swap steering box for 4 bolt, new coolant pipes, shocks bushes and springs.
Has anyone got any other suggestions of what I should do while I've got it all apart or any tips and advice?
Cheers

seat box refurb depending on what condition it is in when you remove it.

Dinitrol and paint everything, potentially blast, repair, and galv the bulkhead.

Paint and wax the chaassis before the rebuild begins.

just noticed it is a station wagon, will almost certainly need new/repairs to the sills and b/c-pillars. you may even be able to get galv ones, you can with the hardtops

Yeah half would be best and they do need some work, just a little pricey.

On it, hoping there's enough in budget for galve bulkhead replacement.
