Steering Wheel

Is there anywhere online that you can get a replacement steering wheel for the FL? Mine is a bit worn. Alternatively is there a kit you can get to sew on a slim cover? I've had a quick look but not had much luck.

Yer can buy them ont ebay or other sites. Just need to be careful of the airbag as yer can't post them as it's technically an explosive device.

I wonder if a leather seat repairer could also repair a steering wheel. Eye would expect they could but have never used one.

A friend of mine brought a leather steering wheel cover that he had to stich over the original one you have to take your time doing it but his dose not look to bad . I will ask him were he got it from , on the same subject if it is leather can you not get something to repair it ? Like a dye or something . I am in the same boat but not sure of the best stuff to get

Hi @tlo and @Hippo. I will check out eBay. If you're able to find out for me @tlo that would be much appreciated. Mine feels like it has little bits out of it, kind of a rough rubber feel. If that makes sense?

Do these ones just fit over the existing steering wheel without any sort of fixing to hold them in place?

No fixings just a really tight fit need strong fingers to get on
Make sure you put the padded area in the right place as they dont move once fitted
Make the Hippo smell of leather again great
