Hi guys my rangerover 2010 sport HSE does have a TV fitted is there a way to get one fitted or a hack to enable it? It's has everything else on the screen and reverse camera etc but no TV. Any info much appreciated and thanks in advance. James

As a driver you're not allowed a TV in the front coz' it distracts 'innit.

The new ones have it, but can only be viewed from the passenger's side, forgotten the techie term..

Oooh any other further queries best post them in the Range Rover section.

I has got one of them there magic boxes , at front , in my ancient L322.

Oh earlier quite early incarnation :cool:

Nice, all my screen does is tell me where to go o_O:D
I may be wrong but I think it's a trim thing. I know the HSE didn't get them as standard but am of the belief the Vogue did. Rear screens were optional. Ant would know ;)

Yes he would, the Vogue TRIM being king and all i suppose they'd get them!
But it's amazing how high a HSE can be spec'd.

I summon @Saint.V8 :cool::D

From the research I did I think the rear screens are more of a vogue SE thing. Of course as was pointed out to me when I first asked the question of spec, there isn't one. HSE, Vogue, Autobiography is but a name and doesn't specify what you get:)

Again Ant will know , but the early HSE L322 didnt have the satnav display monitor. So not sure if they could change the ICE. However, no idea on the RRS, especially a 2010 type. By then the Sport probably had as standard what the FFRR Vogue had in 2002.

Trim levels are always complicated in the modern era of vehicles.

The HSE was the base model at a certain price - and then you can odd options to make it what you want. The Vogue was the highest 'off the shelf' trim, and then you could odd or remove options.

Rear Screens were not a standard feature for the earlier L322's and was only offered as an option item.

As a for instance, our L322 is badged from the factory as a Vogue, but is actually a HSE with options....we have trizone climate control, sat nav etc....but we don't have a sunroof, we dont have heated rear seats or the more adjustable contour type seats.

Depending on the vehicle spec you wanted......sometimes it would be cheaper to order a Vogue and remove stuff....or order a HSE and add stuff.....depending on what you wanted to do.

As another example, you want all the Vogue toys but not a sunroof - it could have been cheaper to start with a base HSE without sunroof and add the Vogue toys....then it would be to order a Vogue and then do a special build with out the sunroof!

I know little about the Sport models.....but adding a complex system into a model without it is quite a task, it may be better to consider an aftermarket head unit with all the toys on it.
