Lt77, 1.410 lt230 and standard diffs.

7.50 x 16 Michelin ZXL tyres

Yep. The driver doesn’t much like it either, deafness can occur aswell as being shaken to bits......

correct must say have always had oil burners in me series but since getting nicked for red im finding petrol a lot better.
as a foot note did have 10 years on cherry so not moaning about the £500 fine tbh.
o the good old days 17p a litre sweet.

I reason you can’t have a diesel though right? Just don’t fill it with red!

how do they catch you? spot checks or is it possible to tell from the exhaust fumes?

They used to do spot checks at motorway services. I was always hoping to get one when I used to run (legit declared) veg oil. But usually they impound the vehicle.

na ****s caught me on camara fillin drum then drivin past garage just bad luck and timing

I would say about a dead heat with Flats 200tdi

It would also be interesting what noise level we all get to when accelerating hard. I have a decibel app on my phone will see what I hit next time I am out in it .Used to be quieter than my sons defender have roof headling in place now so seems quieter but have not checked recently. Was 93db with noise killer engine blanket fitted but that has died due to lead sheet breaking up inside it.Defender was 95db.

Yeah, but, no, but.Mine was like using GPS like.....plus the second run was 0.25 seconds quicker like you know.........

I only checked the second, might need to lose the spare wheel and seats , pump the tyre s up to get a bit more

It was uphill, there was a gale force head wind...I was towing a discovery!!! I had two pigs in the back of me tratter.....Honest.

I only had one pig in the back of mine, it was still slow!
