Just bought second hand protector bar for the front with driving / spot lights.
Bit of a hasty purchase, thought it was all complete but missing the mounting brackets that bolt onto bumper rail for secure mounting.
Looking at instructions on TOPiX (great site!) I can get most of the bolts / rivet nuts off Ebay, and should be able to fabricate the brackets or "creatively engineer" (aka bodge) something similar!
Would be really helpful if anyone out there might have a set of these brackets, and could take pics / measure up dimensions and holes so I could make them before taking it all apart, else it'll be in bits whilst I'm knocking something up!
Or perhaps there may be a redundant set out there up for grabs or a kit not fitted that I could copy? (hens' teeth me thinks!) :(

Brackets can be seen under the main bar on page 2 or at step 15 where it shows them offered up to bumper bar for fitting.
Any help appreciated.

I'm afraid that unless you are really stuck, I'm not dismantling everything to get measurements, but this is the best photo I have of the brackets for the A Bar on mine. The A Bar itself also has 2 longish metal brackets that poke through the valance and are secured with the under-tray bolts.

Quality forum is this!
Thanks, nice pic GrumpyGel, so I can now get a good idea of location and forward throw of the mount, I appreciate fully the lack of interest in taking it apart!
The other brackets on the base of each leg of the A bar are still attached, so that should be no hassles, thanks for heads up tho'.
Monkfish, if you have the brackets available / to hand, and can sketch with dimensions / diameters etc, that would be great, I'm in no rush to fit so when you are home would be great!
Reckon I could get by with 2 bits of angle iron back to back, or I have a block of aluminium that could be ground down to something like wots needed.

Had the same problem when I bought mine. I ended up using a pair of gate hinges which happened to be narrow enough and a piece of inch thick box section to space it high enough. Then used trial and error to get the angles correct. Would recommend drilling the holes in the bumper first and then you can align the brackets before you drill into the crash bar. Can't remember the dimensions but hope this helps.
