95 P38 how do I fix this?

Trim around window is bubbling?

Is that between the two doors winch?

It looks to be the frame around the door glass, I think its plastic coated but rusting from the inside?

It is the metal under the coating that is corroding through. Either replace or you may have luck rubbing it down, priming and recoating.

Fit new part.

Probably a bit of old damage has allowed water to penetrate & then the rust spreads under the paint/plastic coating.
You could sand & paint but the surface is likely to be well pitted & unless you can get at all of it then it will work its way back from the bits you couldn't get at.
If easily replaceable that's going to be your best option.

How do I remove the part?

It clips over the door frame. But you really do not want to know how much new ones are. IF you can get them.

Obviously you don't know how tight I am, it will be the scrappy for me

Hi..basically your existing part is scrap....Not too difficult to replace.. When I did one of mine wound down window and gently pulled old one out...new one slid in (bottom ends first) and then carefully pul upwards to seat it.
New ones available (copy part) look at BRITCAR...very expensive for what they are... Good 2nd hand would be best option.

Thanks Sid I had visions of having to strip the door! I will have a look for some next week, just spoils the car as the rest is very good

Just a thought how can I get the window down in a scrapper?

Head butt it, like a real man? Or maybe a battery booster/jump starter if it's mostly intact?

A Brixton key does the job

12 volts direct to window motor, two wires and battery should do it,unplug connector first
