Hi Guys.
How easy is it to change the headlight wiper motor as my passenger's one has gone mad by continually running so I've had to disconnect it, got a second hand 1. So looking at it quickly today and it looks like I have to take the light out, am I right or is there an easier way. Many Thanks. To All bodys in the Landyzone I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

According to RAVE you take the headlamp out to get at it.

Oh thought so but was hoping it was going to be easier than that, you know using a long reach socket down the blade shaft to undo the nut. 1 small question what is RAVE. Thanks.

RAVE is like a Haynes manual but on steroids you will find download links in the tech archive top of the range rover home page.

It's a lamp out job and unless you are lucky, the headlight mounting bolts will turn in the plastic making it impossible to get the nuts off:eek: Bonne chance:D

I cannot seem to find this RAVE your all talking about, all I can find is forums telling you by other members how to do things, the only head light I can find in the 17 posts is for an L322 not the P38. ???.

Ok found it, Thanks. But now the problem is I have to get the headlight protection bars off and by the looks of things these were put on when the car was made, so mega rusty screws to try and get out. So plenty of WD 40 on them, another load again tomorrow till they may move. Let's hope so.
