I’m new to the site and was wondering if anyone can help please.

I’ve got a 2010 freelander 2 xs but can’t seem to find the aux input. There’s a hole at the back of the centre console, near the rear electric output but when I tried putting the aux lead in it was really loose. Does anyonehave any ideas please. TIA Gina

That’s where the aux socket is located - at the rear of the centre console - 3.5mm headphone socket

A new socket is relatively cheap to replace (same as Ford Fiesta) so that may be cheaper route to source on

Thanks. I’ll have a look tomorrow

Interestingly, if your phone is connected via Bluetooth, and someone phones you, the In Car Entertainment system stays in ‘phone’ mode when the call ends and you can’t skip tracks or change CDs. Took me a while to figure that one out.
You have to press the CD/Aux button to get that functionality back.

Thanks for the tip.
