Discovery 2 Discovery 2 Td5 for sale, spares/repair NOW SOLD

Epsom green 2000 Discovery 2 Td5 XS needing replacement auto box. Sound chassis, (surface rust only) good bodywork, tidy interior, 7 seats, head gasket and oil cooler replaced, engine was running fine when gearbox went. On HD coils on rear. Working ACE with new ARB bushes. It has been laid up for about 18 months 'awaiting repair' but I never got round to it and now need it gone due to house move.
£800 but I will consider all sensible offers.

Ok, £550, for a quick sale, bearing in mind I could sell just the engine, complete with turbo, injectors etc for at least that.

I can't believe you can't shift it at your original price.
If it were local, I'd take it, but shipping it back "home" would cost as much as the car itself (almost!)

That's half the problem. There's no-one local who seriously wants it. I've had a few enquiries from Face-ache but no follow ups. A bloke from Atlanta Georgia asked about it! (Probably a bit far...) one offered £500, I said £550, he said £750... "car all working"..... bell end...
