Trust me it int difficult. Yer need to access the rear of the fag @Nig lighter socket. Use a meter to confirm which fag @Nig socket wire is positive. With ignition oft cut through wires. Strip back and join them together with choc block. Strip back yer camera wires and connect to said choc block. Now pull oft A pillar plastic. Tuck cable out of sight under gear lever plastic surround, dash, then feed up A post. Either poke the cable above roof lining so it ends int middle by rear view mirror or undo sun visor and head lining screws to assist putting cable above it. It is easier to do this ont passenger side A post.

Second method is to get a carrier fuse and fit this to the fag @Nig socket fuse int fuse box by yer passengers feet. It sort of piggy backs the eggsisting fuse. Now run cable up A post as above...
doesnt sound too bad

Have one in my car and 110.
For what they cost now, they are must haves.
Saves all the grief if involved in an accident.
Those who don't want one in case it gets them in trouble? IMO, crap drivers.

i'll check out youtube but i always thought theyd be hard to install

i see what you mean about the memory cards

As Hippo says, not hard to install at all - getting the wires hidden in the head lining is tedious maybe ... but not difficult ... and what does it matter how long it takes - first one in my D1 was boring and long winded ... second one in SWMBO's D1 was very easy cos I done it before ;) :D

Just as long as it's not your fault
You don't have to be a 'crap' driver to make an honest mistake, we are all human (allegedly).
I've been driving for 55 years on a clean licence, but am not so conceited as to believe I'm perfect.

Get it while u can

Guys, I've used a Blackvue 2ch unit in my daily for 2+ years now and it's of very high quality. It's designed as a professional front and rear dashcam system with superb video/sound + easy to use mobile App...even for me, it was plug and play, + live GPS +++ It is not a low cost Chinese-eBay type unit. Both cameras are very discrete with the forward camera hiding in front of the rear view mirror, the rear camera sitting just below the upper trim of the rear window. Simply, it works first time.
