Hi
Is there an easy way to remove the rear fog light switch, tell tale bulb has failed. I tried feeler gauges top and bottom from searching other threads but didn't pop out.

I could never do the feeler gauge thing either, its been a while but first its panel above pedals then panel in front of knees, the two each side of transmission tunnel and and and isnt there one speedo area, sold it a year and already forgot how it comes apart !

I 'm not sure if you can access the switches above but, when I had mine to gain access to the clock
to change the bulb, I pulled out the storage box above the radio, it was a bit risky but just popped
out and, clipped back in just as easy.

I take it you did not have sat nav fitted. RAVE explains how to remove centre panel and switches. Follow instructions for removing clock to gain access to switches.

No should have said, no sat nav.

Some ham-fisted gorilla had smashed the mounts that my speedo surround screws into so mine just pops out. Seem to remember a couple of screws and the whole top part pops out with a bit of wriggling and no need to remove lower section or sides. Cannot remember exactly how I do it without it in front of me but done it quite a few times now. No sat-nav on mine either.

Depends if the switch panel has all the screws fitted, or the usual few missing. Five screws in all. There's one screw behind the instrument surround, one each either side of the radio, plus one each side of the switch panel hidden behind the console side panels.

If all the trim is fitted correctly, then:
  • Remove panel under steering column
  • Remove instrument surround
  • Remove centre console side panels
  • Now you can access all five switch panel screws

Think maybe I can flex the side panels and get those screws out without removing the sides ... or maybe it just didn't take long and I forgot.
