you got me curious now, go on spill the beans lol
It is far, far too embarrassing to be disclosed.
Lets just say it was at least 4 times the price of what a lot of folks consider OTT for an 18YO car in almost showroom condition. We are talking STUPID money and I was a damnable fool.

€1,200 for my 200Tdi Discovery 1 from 1992 (it was 20yrs old when I bought it ) with a burnt out wiring loom under the dash and more rot than a 1980s Escort, comfortably spent 10X what I paid for it in parts and consumables over the 6yrs that I've owned it and ain't really finished upgrading and customizing it yet.

still more work to do eh?

I bought my Land Rover as a hobby not a mode of transport, it's never going to be finished, locking diffs, full external roll cages, 35" tyres, spot lights, side lighting, rear working lamps, Webasto diesel heater, etc, etc, etc.......................

What about your plans for your motor?

dont really have any plans for it apart from getting some winter tyres for it,
i did want a land rover discovery but my mrs is short so she struggled with clutch pedal
