Restricted performance with following codes P1247, P0105, P0700, P042F

Hi all my 2010 Discovery 4 3.0 TDV6 has behaved itself for a couple of years since changing the inlet manifold which was cracked. It has started to misbehave again going int restricted performance some times within 5 minutes of starting from cold. the restricted performance only goes off when the car is allowed to go to sleep. The car then goes well with out lose of power. Any ideas where to look

Turbo boost problem? Sticky vanes, air leak, dodgy sensor, loose hose clips perhaps

Thanks Freelance for your response. Have had a good look around but cannot see anything. Do you know what the manifold pressure should be and how I can measure it with a diagnostic tool icarsoft i930.

You can measure some items with an I930. However a D3 owner really should invest in a much more advanced diagnostic tool. The Gap Diagnostics IID BT is far better suited to D3/4 diagnostics and can kept in the glove box ready for use anytime.

sounds like a boost leak needs smoke testing to find it

I have a Disco 4 SDV6 HSE. I used to get single error P1247 at random. Now it seems to have fixed itself.

I am concerned that it might be the lull before the storm.

Any advise?

Sell it whist you still can

P1247 has been fixed. Hose issue. One of them had a small crack on it. Replaced all hose connecting to the turbo. No more issues.
