Disco 2 Door wiring query

Hello! Could anyone kindly assist please? (I’ve searched the site and read through similar problems but am still stuck! )

Our front passenger electric window has been working intermittently and has now stuck half way down. I can hear a click from BCU, the the wiring from the BCU towards the door appears in good condition. I’ve traced it to a transformer (?) block before it enters the door grommet and am a little flummoxed as to which wires I should now check. Does anyone please have a wiring diagram showing wire colours as they enter the door? Or do I need to take the door apart and work backwards? Many thanks in anticipation and apologies if a stupid question!

I have had intermittent trouble with the window in the driver's door which I finally traced to a broken wire inside the rubber tube grommet between the door and the door pillar. It's a point where the wiring is under mechanical stress.
I replaced the wire and I've had no trouble since.
The window regulator motor only has two wires, the connections to it are reversed in the Windows ECU to wind it up or down so identifying them will be easy once you have access. You will have to remove the door card and cut into the plastic water shedder membrane to get into the door to make your checks and any necessary repairs. Repair the plastic membrane with "Gaffer tape" or duct tape.

The wires to the window motors are grey/pink and grey/blue

no such thing on a D2

I had to fix the same problem with my driver's door. I recently changed the window regulator on the passenger door and because it was quite warm, the membrane peeled back nicely. The drivers door was done in colder weather and I had to use scissors and gaffer tape. Also the door fasteners came apart without any breaking on the warmer day.

Sorry, I meant the windows circuit in the BCU. I apologise.

Hello, apologies to restart this thread, does anyone know the voltage of the window motor please? Would I be able to direct feed it to get it moving? The wiring issues appears to be from the BCU and I’m not touching that! Thank you!

The window motors are 12 volt devices. Connect the power one way to wind the window down and the other way round to wind the window up.

Thanks so much! I connected it to my motorbike battery with jump cables and it’s now finally up hurrah! No more unintentional windswept looks. Thanks again.
