breed a German Shepherd in the back and then keep him their all his life. Tease him occasionally though just to make him angry and aggressive.

I just have good insurance, if you have too many deterants on it then they may just do lots of damage trying to steal it and not suceed which you have to pay for as excesses can be high on policies.

it really dont matter wot you do, if they want it bad enough you wont stop them, ther was a guy in wishaw with an rs turbo years ago, car was sittin parked in the street all locked alarmed and so, two guys in broad day light turn up wi transporter, cut handbrake cables winched onto flatbed with alarm goin and not one person questioned what they were doin because it looked they were just recoverin car

If you fit a disclock or similar steering wheel lock that covers the entire steering wheel and park with your steering on full lock It slows down thieves who break in and want to tow it on a rope behind another vehicle and is much much harder (not impossible) for a recovery truck to just hook it up and pull it on. A hiab would also struggle to load it without damaging the front wings. (Makes it hard to tow away if you park illegally). smirk!!!!

it'd be good if you could get an alarm the fires a 10" spike up through the seat base if its sat on while activated

Guy in the states did that and forgot about it and paid the ultimate price, was on news about 12 years ago.

A lot of cars are stolen just to get home, then your car is dumped in a side street and left for six months until someone reports it to the police, getting the insurance rarely covers the money the vehicle is really worth. My trick is to fit a fuel cutout on a timer/alarm work out roughly how long it takes to get near a major junction/road and set the timer.

Make it 'latch' i.e. sets itself when you switch off the ignition so you will never forget it, now when some little ba**ard takes your car it will stop normally in a very inconvenient place and the alarm will sound and the ba**ard will not hang around in the middle of the main road and takes off. As the car will probably block the road or just be stuck on a yellow line whatever the police will be called and you get your car back!

personally think gun best idea though in practice i park wifes 14 year old feista next to mine as its be stolen a few times but due to imobiliser its usually at the bottom of the hill after they fail to bump start it

That reallt puts me off buying a landy my fithers got yin but i dinnae really wanna be in bed one night and some bugger takes off with me car i reckon to be super safe tie a shotgun to the doors so if anybody opens it bang youre dead mother f***er that'll do. Its the same as folk stealing the quad bikes tractors and JCB's at the dead of night and been scouting the area for a few week bloody pricks string them by the balls

How about taking off the steering wheel? Its easy enough to do, and unless they've got their own then they won't be going far...
Maybe thats a bit drastic. I try to (purposefully of course) leave the car in the condition no-one would want to nick :)
As far as the shotgun idea goes, its effective, but you'll need a new door panel,
