STOLEN in Halifax: '11 110 Defender XS utility

Afternoon all. It's been a while since I posted in the Landy forums, so sorry for jumping in straight with this.

My beloved 2011 110 CSW XS utility was stolen in the early hours of this morning in Halifax sometime after 3.30am. They bypassed the alarm and steering lock. Please keep your eyes peeled! It has (or had, at any rate) a personalised plate 'N4 VEK', full length front runner rack, snorkel and non-XS black grille and headlamp surrounds. Dark metallic green.

If you live in the area, keep an eye on your own landies too!

Have yer got any more pic's with a closer view of it? Also the mods if it makes it look different to other tratters.

I know it might be rubbing salt into a wound but did you have any sort of security on the defender? It helps the rest of us the know what could stop any others being nicked.

If you could post on Landy Watch that would be great!

It had a steering lock, factory alarm and immobiliser and tracker. All disabled within about 10mins. Pro job.

Pretty stock spec. Mods include: full length Hannibal rack, Mantec plastic jobby snorkel, standard non-XS spec grille and headlamp surrounds, dog guard.

Guys who pinched it were driving a soft top vitara. See attached cctv screen grab.

Thanks for the info it has now been posted on landywatch fb. Which tracker did you use, does it still show a location to you or only the police? It may have been dumped somewhere so it would be worth your while searching nearby if you haven't done already.

Was it towed or driven away? Which specific steering lock was used (looks like a disklok but please confirm)?

I will update you on any info in the LW group when it arises :)

Just seen this post from a while back we had our defender 90 SVX stolen on Wednesday and it’s been spotted in the Halifax area (stolen from Saddleworth). There’s been a few this week all within a certain radius of this area....
