Hello people!

Just thought id share some pics of our little outing this Saturday. Me the Mrs and the little one headed over to Church Stretton, a lovely little town in an area of outstanding natural beauty, in the heart of the Shropshire hills and we tootled about on some of the many green lanes in the area.

We started off the Welsh side of the Long Mynd, and headed along its length and then up and over. We then took the most technically challenging route of the day, the "sunken lane" that starts at the end of Watling Street North, and heads alongside Caer Caradoc (a steep hill with a fortification at its summit), then back into Stretton for a pub lunch in the Green Dragon (highly recommended).

If anyone fancies doing something similar, anytime really, I'm well up for it. :)

Here are a few pics, hope you enjoy!

These lanes were documented in an LRO mag a while ago, although they attempted it in the snow, and I think a standard disco ran into problems on the Long Mynd. The sunken lane is best avoided if you have a very shiny one, but is immensely fun to drive, the more the merrier!! :)
