Trawling ebay and gumtree etc etc i've seen many HSE's SE's and only a select few Vogue's

My question is what does the Vogue signify?

I've seen many HSE's as well if not better equipped than my Vogue.

Is there anything exclusive about them?

Don't know how its a lazy question??

I assumed forums were for asking questions??

Anyway, found this through Google, the search bar isn't working for some reason..
https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/p38-hse-versus-vogue.68968/

Sheds some light on the question, i'll keep looking.

It's lazy because the answers are all there to be found, if you just do a ten second search, as you have just found out. Instead you wanted others to do the work for you.
Yes forums are for questions but personally I try to find the answer myself first and only ask after spending some time searching. After failing miserably to find, or getting totally confused by, the info out there I come crawling and ask. Perhaps it's a snowflake v carbon thing ;)

P.s there is another site out there that will explain fully. Hint: He works for Miss Penelope

I've always said that in order to buy and be a Range Rover owner, you need to know, understand, appreciate and worship the marque....

From knowing who the lead engineers and designers were, the heritage of the brand and other such questions and trivia - then you are truly worthy of for the name Range Rover to adorn your drive, parking space etc.

I can understand people asking questions that is how we all learn at some point in our lives - we wouldn't get very far if no one had asked 'How do we transport this dead animal back to the cave easier?' or 'How do we get to the moon?'

I can't expect my 4 year old to know everything straight off the bat, she needs and should be encouraged to ask questions......

Now an adult who has the cognitive ability to Gooooooooooogle - hmmmmmm, but also, forums are for those so enthused with a brand/marque as to enquire and learn further from those more knowledgeable (and sad to know the answer) as to why the Vogue model got its name, what the trim levels are for each model year and that the Range Rover was the first ever vehicle to feature on the front cover of the popular fashion magazine!

Thanks Saint!!

I don't think there was a P38 Vogue until they were near the end of the line. Before that there was the HSE which with various options is what the Vogue became as standard, although at the very end I think the Vogue also had an options list so there wasn't much in it. The chrome surround on the tailgate button sounds about right!

Hard to say what trim level my DT is. It sure as hell isn't what it started out as!

Yep - as the L322 was hitting the market - in order to flog the surplus P38's they branded a select few (of a certain selection of colour) as VOGUE - and gave it a coloured VOGUE badge to suit.....and a few little tit-bits of chrome and trim and flog them on.

Vogue was a trim level of that glorious vehicle the Range Rover, it meant proper wooden door cappings and other bonus goodies declaring its best of the best status.

Nowadays it’s an overpriced SUV.
