I already have a car insured through Flux, and have used very happily for many years - always been quite competitive, so kudos to you guys. Good service too. However quote for a defender was £1200 with a £2k excess! with 8 years NCB!

NUF was £580 - £100 excess. Much more what i was expecting!

Sorry chaps, but i was quite shocked at the difference there.
Just feedback - does no one want to insure them any more?

I insured all my cars for 40 odd years through Endsleigh. A couple of years ago they went silly money so I went on one of the comparison websites and went with Hastings Direct. Better cover and a fraction of the cost. And in the second year it jumped up a good bit but spoke to them on the phone and got it right back down again. But I don't use it for commuting or business use anymore, that really brought the cost down. Now paying under £200 fully comp and protected no claims. A really good all round policy. So shop around is my recommendation.

Hi Earl, if you waned to drop me a PM I'd be happy to look into why we were so expensive.

Regards
Dan

The renewal quote for my 98 Fender was in excess of £800! Went to the Meerkats and brought that down to
£300.00 with Admiral. :D
