Travelling home last Saturday I notice I had a message say "Air suspension inactive" and no lights on suggesting a hard fault. Suspension was sitting at motorway height, plugged in my laptop fault came back as "Articulation validity fault", reset it and the suspension burst into life to normal ride height.

This morning it unlocked as normal, key into the ignition turned to start up and then everything went dead. Checked battery which came back at 4v. So started to untighten the negative lead, then the FBH burst into life. All back to normal. The Rangie is a 2003 diesel. I'm wondering if she is possessed. LOL.

They are all possessed!
But also low battery voltage and or loose battery terminal will only awaken more of the demons inside ....

Hi Holidaychicken
I know what you are saying, but both battery terminals were tight to start with. I only undid the neg terminal 3 turns then she burst back into life. Check her this morning and all is well. Battery voltage is showing up as fully charged.

Other lubricants are ....AvaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiLable:eek:

What you need is some Vaseline on your terminals .....

The TD6 I’ve been messing with had a funny turn, I tried to start it and it just did a clunk and then nothing. I thought the battery had gone flat and when I tried to connect a small crocodile clip to the negative terminal it was sparking and felt hot, but at that stage there was nothing connected to the other end to the crocodile clip wire. The battery terminal was tight and the battery is quite new but I removed the terminal and cleaned inside it and put it back on and did it up FT and it would then start perfectly.
I tried just touching the top of the terminal before I cleaned it with a screwdriver and it was crackling and sparking so it must have been lose.
Anyway, getting back to this Vaseline , I think @tomcat59alan has a small 10 kilo tub if you need to borrow some
