anyone in merseyside who can help us out with a nanocom to clear a fault plz any help appreciated on a 4.0 v8 engine immobilised issue

mines a 4.0v8 av got engine immobilised issues coz of key was told you can delete the immobiler to stop this issue

Do you know if it is the Thor or the GEMS? Year?

You can turn off passive immobilisation. Rare for the petrols to go out of sync but it does happen occasionally. I think it usually is related to RF interference as mine never did it after I fitted the generation 3 receiver.

Are you using the fob to lock/unlock the car or the key in the lock?

@mozz smith is the expert on immobilised Rangies! He's pretty close to Manchester though so ...

that would be great it is a thor i have key lock out atm so heads up me ass i have eka code doing nothink just love to get her running again m8 what do you charge

That means you have entered incorrect EKA three times. You will have to wait for lockout message to go off before you can try again. Tip is only try EKA twice then open and close drivers door for more attempts. Open and close door after two failed attempts and you will not get key code lockout.

the eka i was given i started with 4 left turns then done eka plus extra turn to right as told an it wont do it so anymore advice would be great as its just beepin on everyturn now an sets alarm off if opened

its a 2000 reg 4.0 thor

was using the fob always until put new batteries in i got keys synced but since its gone tits up
