Hi Everyone

I have a 2004 Freelander td4, and a recent mot advised changing both rear diff mounts as the rubber was very worn. I’m a bit of a newbie and also don’t have bundles of cash so thought I’d look on eBay - and there are loads of replacement sets. However, this part seems pretty important, I don’t mind a pattern part but need to know who to trust - I don’t want to buy from one of the many out there on eBay and then the part just snaps. Any advice?

Many thanks
Mark

+1 for the poly bushes I got sick n tired of changing mine.
Great thanks for the tip - if you could point me in the right direction to where and what I should buy that would be awesome. This is all new to me.

Thanks

No problem I used duraflex Red but the colour is your own choice from yellow, red, black,

Combine that with the front lower engine mount and you should be ok for the future not changing them every couple of years.

Is it possible to get poly bushes that are already fitted to the aluminium part?

I doubt it I have never seen any, it only takes about 5 minutes to remove the old bushes and insert the poly ones, overall it should take no longer than an hour to do all three mounts

Mmm I have looked at the pics, but I can't see how that g clamp is doing anything? How do you push the poly bushes into the bracket?

They come to you in two halves them you press them together through the mount ;)once you have cut out the old bush :)
