OK few more things done, starting to look a bit more like a overland vehicle :)

Drove to Eindhoven this weekend to get the hardtop and roof rack fitted which Tembo 4x4 made for me:

Roof tent, awning and few other bits going on this weekend hopefully.

Regarding the plates - yes I probably should have removed them and I won’t post pics with them moving forward, but not going to remove the existing pics as they are plastered all over the internet anyway. I’d rather not have a conversation about it here anyway :)

Would love to hear more about your travel plans,. I live in Spain, travel a lot in morrocco, but like yourself, looking to take at least a year out to travel..
You’re Land Rover looks great..
Honestly have no idea yet for the year long break! I'd quite like to go to Mongolia, or Dakar, or both :) I'll see what I think I and the vehicle are capable of once I've done the trans-Pyrenees and trans-Portugal trip in August.

Hi, I haven’t done Mongolia yet but Dakar is an interesting drive, well worth a look.

That is a special vehicle, hope you enjoyed your trip over to Eindhoven, the guys there are FD are amazing, When I lived In both Belgium and in Holland I used to get in there for stuff, my out and out fave was Sons 4X4 in Sint-Oedenrode, Koen was super helpful and gave me amazing discounts on stuff, literally cost price :D

I'm watching this and look forward to your updates.

WOW this looks the absolute nuts! My fave colour as well! Really interested in the progress. Particularly which fuel tank you went for!

All my cash is going on the boring, but essential security now, but hope to make a few changes that are more fun!
