Who the feck approved the New Discovery offset number plate??
Now, I know I'm a bit late to the party with this and it's probably been discussed but only saw it with my own eyes this week. It's awful, I was following one on the motorway and had to look away after a while cos it was making me feel ill, it can't be just my OCD. I can't find any official pics of the back (surprise surprise) but found this one:
I can see how it came about, it probably had it's own paragraph in the design proposal....
"....Offset Numberplate (TM) is a symbol of Land Rover history, it signifies purpose, preparation and ruggedishness, a reflection of previous times when a spare wheel meant independence and personal authority. Offset Numberplate (TM) indicates that you are a warrior, commanding the countryside, in charge of your own life and destiny. When you have Offset Numberplate (TM) it shows that you are different from the norm, blazing your own trail, the Offset (TM) way!...."
Now that's all well and good but someone needed to put a red pen through that and write
"..but it looks Sh!t?..."
