Trying to remove front seat. Instructions are to remove the four electric plugs from under the seat base. One of them plugs into a box screwed to the underside of the seat. Does this just pull out or are there clips to squeeze? I don't want to force it.
Thanks.

hi , there are spring clips (plastic) on part of connector , all are heated seat connectors (1) and others to b.e.c.m. that's if your talking about drivers seat !!!!! same with passenger seat but these go to ecu;s etc all under the said seat ,,,so the best way to undo is gently remore the 4 holding bolts to the seat subframe then gently tip to one side but don't overstretch the wiring just enough so you can clearly see the press clips on connectors then undo them ...its better if you can have someone to help hold them whilst removing clips ((( possibly wifey )))))) ~??? easy if your careful & take your time ...cheers mozz ,,,best of luck with your project ...

If you need to ask you properly shouldn't be doing it, then again you gotta learn
Don't think my opinion would be valid ! It involves wire cutters , electricians tape, connector blocks, a grinder and a big hammer!!
Do you think that would confuse the matter ???
I'm just saying that's the way I work! And they may be on the same wavelength as me!
You never know! Stranger things have happened!!

Thanks Mozz. I'll have another go. It's the driver's seat I'm taking out and the problem is there is loads of wiring stuffed under the seat and it's difficult to see the multiplug let alone get at it.

If it's electric, tilt the seat-back fully forwards before you start. Makes getting the seat through the door easier. Then undo the four bolts & tip the entire seat backwards to access all the plugs. Just don't over stretch the wires.

Disconnect seatbelt from seat. . . it's easier than removing all the b-pillar trims.
