Today's problem:
One of tge back windows will only go down and not going down from armrest switch. door switch not doing anything.
Tried another motor and does the same.
Checked voltage on motor connector and when pressing down from armrest switch there is a voltage reading. When pressing up, nothing.
When trying doorswitch, nothing.
All fuses are intact.
All other windows work as they should.

Any ideas?

The wiring to the door would seem the obvious place to start, checking for any damage. Maybe the CCU on the back of the fuse box or the connections to it not being seated correctly.

They're just thoughts though!

Hmm. Wireing in the door look intact and no damage. Ccu is my main suspect.
Only two wires go to the motor so my guess is that the polarity of those is switched inside the ccu unless there is some kind of relay for every window somewhere.

Checked the lock switch in the center console and now both work but again only one way. (Down) tried the switch from the other door and same thing. So fault is elsewhere.

Here you go.

Hope it helps.

@Nodge68 helps a lot. From what I can seeits the ccu that switches the polarity of the cables to control the windows so probbably that's at fault.
Will check it out.
Thank you.

Looking at the diagram, I would have thought that it is the Up Relay for the window that has gone. It doesn't look like the CCU actually does much at all, and nothing at an individual window level.

Looking again. The window relays are in the fusebox. 2 for each window. May be able to replace them if individual as I have a spare one. But will have to look into them again.

I have a spare fusebox i ca n try. are they a direct replacement or are there different ones? Any one tried it before?

Small update. Went to work on it after work ....aaannnd....... everything works again efore even doing anything.

But
When I press up, window goes down, and when I press down, window goes up.
I did re wind the cable when I replaced the motor but I'm 99% sure I did it cotroctly as it was before so that's not the issue. Plug on motor only connects one way so that'd not reversed either.

So just cut the cables and switched them for now ao works fine again but still cannot understand what is going on.

Pretty sure I had a similar issue a couple of years ago. For all the often it was used I just left it operating the wrong way and nobody ever complained.

Water ingress maybe? Plenty of rain lately, perhaps it dried out and started working again. Only random thing I can think of as it seems you checked everything else.
