Hi everyone,
Recently had a gearbox electrical fault, had someone plug in and he decided to look at what his machine could do to my car.

Since then my tv won t tune in.
Can anyone help? Does anyone have a machine to plug in and check he hasn't altered the settings?

Maybe check im on the latest software

Just wondering why you don't go back and ask him to plug it back in and check he hasn't changed anything?

I have and he reckons he didn't go near the tv tuner
I know I might be being a tad logical here but, if you trusted him enough to 'see what his machine could do to your car', why not trust him when he says he didn't touch anything. Also as you have someone with the equipment why not get him to go back in and show you the settings.

Free view was updated last Wednesday ,I had to retune all my tv's , just a thought.

Perhaps there is you answer. Have you tried retuning?

Also, if you put an area of Wales, someone might be able to point you in the direction of a landy specialist, who can help.

It won't tune anything in
Which leads back to the last part of my last post.
May I also suggest a please /thank you may not go amiss, when asking a bunch of strangers to help you. I've said it before on here but seems worth saying again : everyone on here are real people, no-one is paid to help those who ask for assistance and no-one needs to even respond to you. They do it from the kindness of their hearts to help other owners. Without their assistance most of us would be stuck or have been shafted by the big guys. Therefore, whether a known member or a stranger who has just rocked up out of nowhere, a little bit of politeness when asking for help goes a long way.

I am genuinely grateful for all your suggestions.

Gold rover you are quite right to pick me up on this. My mother brought me up better.

Thank you everyone
No worries. I just know how much help the members of this site give, sometimes without so much as a thank you.
I hope you get your issue sorted. At 2012 model, I doubt it will be the old water ingress issue and cannot think of anything else. Perhaps a trip to local specialist to get their take on it, or failing that local stealer to get theirs. Then come back with what they have said and see if someone can help.
