Hi I need to get around rear of chassis to clean it up & paint, how hard is it to remove the rear tub completely. And how is it attached. Also any idea how heavy when removing it, any advice would be appreciated!

It is attached at the seat box and to out riggers underneath at the front. At the back the rear crossmember and some stays to the side panels.Your main problem is likely seized small nuts and bolts.Rear lights need disconnecting. Two blokes can lift it off but one more is better for balance.

Thanks for the reply, not as bad as I thought..... then again I ain’t done yet,

You may need to re-build the bottoms of the post's where the tub and seat box bolts to the out riggers on both sides as they normally fall apart, I was lucky with mine as they are good and its the only series I've seen good ones on, even the ones on my 90 I sold last year needed rebuilding when we replaced the chassis and that was nearly 30 years newer than my 2a I am currently rebuilding :)
