Have ye not found a way in yet? Just been looking at warranty possibilities - the Warrantywise with Quentin Wilson seems to be popular. I'll also talk to the dealer when I see him but I guess he's also on commission from someone or other.
I'm old school CASH ! Far better than a Silentnight memory foam. May have a run to see a 3.6 tomorrow. I'm looking for one in black with cream interior.

It's Alan to you Colin. The one I may go and see is in silver with light grey interior. Do like both motors you posted but I like the black better. Must go, doctors appointment at 0730
Alan - I've just has a glass of wine. And then another one - and so has Mrs B: we have purchased the RR - the black one! Spent the afternoon checking it out (well sitting in it going ooooohhhh......) and will pick it up in a couple of weeks.
This has been an amazing time for me, zoners like you and Joemac and others who've actually given time and thought and encouraging words to me: I've got a Rangie. Yahooooo.........(is this a normal reaction). I already feel like Mrs Bucket - I've told Mrs B I have to get a new hat, a decent shirt and clean my finger nails on the right hand so I can stick two fingers up at all the KIA and Jap crap that passes by. I intend to drive slow so we can pose. I'm thinking of hiring an agent and doing a UK tour! In fact I'm gonna get another glass as I don't think I'll sleep tonight. Thanks all

Remiss of me to ask and wish you well at the docs this morning. Hope it was all well and let us know how you get ion with the silver and light grey interior.

Well done on your new purchase and wish you all the best and hope you have many a good trip together with your loving wife:)
reading this thread has been very humbling, all the best look forward to seeing lots of pics of your travels :)

Cheers Peter, Brian, Joe , Alan and all - insurance sorted today, full European 12 month cover, breakdown and recovery and home repairs, NCD guarantees etc for under £600. I thought not too bad though some of you will know better. But if I'd knocked off the extras it would have been around £80 cheaper. Just went for it. Oo la la..........'ere we come........

All good at the doc's Colin, thanks for asking.I'm the fittest ill person in the surgery. Didn't like the silver one, saw a black one but it had black interior. Good luck with your purchase and enjoy.

It's five weeks since I posted about our plans to buy the Rangey and enjoy some months of luxurious travel (with commensurate expense) before it's too late so here's an update. I'm still waiting to collect the car I paid for in the 22nd Feb. The dealer said it had a whine and they replaced the power steering pump but that there is still a whine there and he wants to sort it before it's handed over. He tells me he has LR specialists working on it and they're changing very belt and pulley necessary to solve it. I haven't heard it, I have not taken delivery of it and I'm content to wait until the dealer gives me the all-clear. At the moment I have no reason not to trust him - I do admit I have not pushed him as I have had other matters to deal with at home, and they're all more important than a car.
However, we had the D2 up Sutton Bank this afternoon and out on the moors for a wee break - corned beef and pickle sarnies and then a drive through the single dry-walled lanes to Helmsley for a pot of tea and some sponge cake (two pieces please). Delightful. There is just a chance we will get the Rangey at the weekend. Have a good 'un all.
