Get a new one from Island 4 x 4
Is a doddle to fix just a bit of a footer
Is rivetted to door but drill them out and fit nuts n bolts cos it will break again
BUT!!!!!! make sure your fingers are well out of the way when you test it as can trap them awffy easily

Cheers, for the info. Yes I have replaced two of the rivets a sounds ago. Which is why l think the shaft broke in the first place.

Right, I have replaced the regulator, but whilst trying it I noticed that when the window is fully closed it flexes the mechanism and door! Is this normal, or should there be a limiting setting or switch that I need to set? As this was clearly what caused the lever arm on the regulator to break in the first place.
Regards Gary

No limit switch power is switched off when motor stalls. Have you set window anti trap?

Ok, can you remind me of exactly what the process is to reset the windows as I want to disconnect the battery to reboot things to see off I can fix a instrument panel lights ought lack of them. Ass that worked before.

Window down and hold a couple of seconds, window up and hold a couple of seconds. dash should say window set. Same for all and sun roof if you have one. Fully open to all positions then close to all positions to get sunroof set message.
