Rave

I've downloaded Rave but I cant "open" it..............anyone know of a link to Rave that will allow me to download a copy that I can use please

What did you download? Was it an .iso file? If so you must burn this "image" to a DVD using software that converts it to a usuable file like "Imgburn". Then you will have the actual files. Usually with RAVE you have to install it. With my version, you copy all the files to a location you want them to reside in, and then run the little LR green oval icon, the file type of which is Application in the file list, and then this will place the same icon on your desktop. To run in future just double click the icon on the desktop. It uses an old version of Adobe to run. You alternatively may have just the pdf version...

They are .iso files that need to be burnt to a DVD so you can access them...

The ones at the top of the forum worked for me.
They are ISO images, so you have to "mount" them on a virtual drive first.
Win 10 provides the ability to mount images like this or you can download a program called PowerISO and have as many drives as you want.

Ahhhhh that explains why I cant open it..........where do i find iso drives on win 10 please

Or just double-click and it should open the ISO in win explorer. Can't do it here because I have my PC set up with powerIso.

I can't open RAVE with windows 10 either, it worked on 7 before the upgrade to 10 and on 10 too at the beginning then at a point after some updates it ceased working and what ever i did it gave me that on rave.exe(this way worked before) so i extracted PDFs on the desktop and i'm opening those... tell me the MY of your D2 and if no joy with that program i'll give you PDFs from my dropbox

its a 2002 prefacelift . I've ordered a rave disc off e bay now LOL ..........but thank you for the offer

You can download WinRAR for free off 'tinterweb and you can then open the ISO file and extract which ever files you need.

I've tried even with the god of winRARs and it worked untill a point but now what's in that picture is all i get

Sounds like the file associations are wrong

That's above my skills but i've got used to the PDFs already

Windows 10 was the easiest install for me

Click the.iso to mount it

Right click the .exe and select run as administrator, ignore the warnings then tell it to install

Green oval on desktop to launch, sometimes the .iso doesn’t remount so that might need a double click first
