How much height if any would I gain by swapping out the springs on a sport model for standard springs?

Anything else I would have to take into consideration while I'm doing it?

Cheers

It's not just the springs that are different, but the shocks too. The pre-2006 Sport is ~40mm lower than a non Sport FL1. ;)

Ah, that probably makes the job easier. As your just swapping both at the same time.

Job for the next couple of weeks.

I'm currently fixing one of the exhaust backbox hangers, snapped today when I was having fun in the snow. Rusted through.

The height gain for all that work/cost is very little. Worth considering. Yer will also be modding the vehicle away from the manufacturers original build. Regardless of it being FL1 parts yer fitting... yer will still need to advise yer insurance.

Personally if I had a Sport and wanted more hight for off road use. I'd actually sell the Sport on and buy a normal FL1. The Sports get a premium price by comparison to a similarly spec'd non Sport model. Adding different suspension and wheels to a Sport will devalue it substantially, so doesn't make sense in my mind.
