Hi All,
Any help appreciated.
2007 90 2.4 Puma engine Defender, 55K. Standard form with the exception of piper air filter and straight through pipe replacing the centre section.

About 2 weeks ago, after a 90 min drive, I had the management light come on. Next morning plugging into laptop and cleared an EGR fault. All good.
Week later, car wouldn't stay running. Runs for literally a few seconds, then dies. Plugged in again and now am getting;
P0089-7A - Fuel Pressure Regulator Performance
P1250-71 - No Description available
P0403-11 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation - Circuit Malfunction

Clearing the codes has no effect on the car.

I have replaced the Fuel Pressure Regulator (the one on the end of the fuel rail), but no improvement.

Am I looking at either the low or high pressure fuel pumps?????

Many Thanks!

Got this sorted!!

It was the suction control valve on the back of the high pressure fuel pump!! Fiddly to replace, but once done, back to normal!!!!
Hi, can you tell me a product code for this valve?
I have the same problem, p0089 and I don't know what to do.
Thank you very much
