Hello bud, I have in-laws who live near pathos. I once made the mistake of taking a hire car on to the acamas peninsula to find the blue lagoon. Nearly got stuck out there with wife and baby, missus still hasn't forgiven me for that stupid stunt.Stunning sceney though.

Hi K14. Yes the Akamas area is definitely a Landy 4x4 area. Used to be a British military training and firing area in the old days it fo rugged. Trails criss cross the area. Great for getting lost and for rescuing unsuspecting tourists who with their wives have wandered in their in their little Kia hire cars . Give it another try .... next time in a real vehicle
