L322 What do you think guys and gals? (edited because I'm forgetful, not a chauvinist!)

I am merely standing/sitting around humming to myself and tapping my fingers on the worktop. Whilst, as per your question.,the guys tell you what they think.
Ah, OK. I thought there was some strange hidden meaning or something! There normally is on here!

No worries. I know it's difficult to tell online. Especially as I am as poorly behaved as the guys sometimes.
Now to what I think. The guy is a conman. Take a look at the bidding history, he is shill bidding. Stay well away.

Er, when I read the ad and feedback, I didn't get the impression that he is a conman. It looks as though a bidder accused a rival bid of being a shill bid and then refused to pay. The rival bid then bought the vehicle on a second chance offer and denied being a shill in his or her feedback.

I'd say it would be essential to go and see the seller and vehicle, but without possibly misguided prejudice.

I know nothing about the seller, but I bought my L322 from a smallish dealer "up north" on ebay and have been delighted at the 3.25k price and follow up help. Years ago I was sure that there was shill bidding against me on a completely different object. In that case I thought it was extremely obvious and put it down to the seller being Welsh.

I haven't read the feedback, so haven't been 'misguided' by anything. Feedback is subjective and one moody buyer can screw up a 100% feedback. So have not based my comments on that.
What I have looked at is the pattern of bidding on that vehicle. Then checked the pattern on his other sales and the pattern of his bidders . EBay made it harder to out shill bidders when they changed from showing full username. However anyone, with a little bit of common sense, can still check a seller's behaviour and interaction with those bidding on their items.
Sadly, many buyers know nothing of shill bidding and get caught out.

The fact I spent 30yrs investigating baddies may give me an edge on seeing dishonest practices.
