Hi
I have just posted regarding vacuum hoses and forget to ask about replacement silicone intake/intercooler hoses.
I want to replace all 5 hoses (mine has the sensor) and I seem to have narrowed it down to two suppliers, DPH silicone hoses and Creations Motorsport.
Has anyone had experience of these suppliers and their products?
Any advice greatly appreciated.

I have the DHP hoses and I have to say imo there are good, any questions I had were answered no probs customer service is good :Dno idea about the other make never used them but I am sure others can help .Don't forget to get the wider jubilee clips or what ever they are called

Thanks. I think I read somewhere the the hose with the 90° bend from DHP wasn't a good fit. Did you have any problems?

Other than getting the hose clip off :mad:(don't get me started on that) no, I did think it looked a bit kinked so I rang them and sent them a picture and they said it was fine

Thanks for the advice.
A quick question. Anybody had problems with Island 4x4? I ordered a Lemforder lower front suspension arm and it arrived with the ball joint gaitor split. No problem they said, we'll send you another. After a month of calls chasing up, a package arrived here in Spain, a ball joint only!!
Another couple of weeks of phone calls and a new arm arrived, the wrong side!!
Finally, after 3 months, I have the parts I need. Island say they will have the wrong parts collected but I'm not holding my breath. Could be offered here free apart from postage if I don't hear from them soon.

Not had a problem with Island 4X4 myself, but had nothing go wrong yet. I generally find them very efficient and reasonably priced. I'm sure the actual arms are the same pressings both sides. The only difference is the ball joints are fitted up or down.
I recently had a supplier (not Island 4X4) send me 2 left hand arms, instead of a pair. I'm still torn between sending the incorrect arm back, or just drilling the rivets out, turning the ball joint the other way up and securing with bolts.

I have dph hoses but must admit that the elbow shaped one is a bit too large for the plastic part of the air intake I rang and the man on reception said to ring the technician but I for got to the are not that far from me so next time I am passing I will call in and have a word otherwise they are the best I have come across my friend had some other make on and they looked poor against mine

The elbow seems to be wrong on all makes from what I've heard and seen myself which would suggest they're all from same manufacturer with different names. Cut a bit off either end and they're OK. I got my last set from Bearmach on a sale for around £50

I suspect that you are correct Ali. The silicone hoses I've fitted have all been a bit longer than the factory rubber pipes. Not that, that is a problem, if you have access to a sharp knife. ;)

Ended up buying a set from ebay, made by G-Plus in China. £64 for a 5 hose kit including clamps. Good quality and a good fit without having to do any alterations. Bargain!!
